By accessing and using BusReviewBD ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including those who contribute content, reviews, and information to the Service.

User Accounts

To submit reviews, you must create an account using OAuth authentication (Google, with Facebook coming soon). You agree to:

• • Maintain the security of your account
• • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent our policies

Review Guidelines

When submitting reviews, you agree to:

• • Honesty: Provide truthful, accurate reviews based on your actual experience
• • One Review Per Trip: Submit only one review per trip instance (route + date + scheduled departure time)
• • Respectful Language: Avoid profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• • No Spam: Not submit duplicate, near-identical, or promotional content
• • No Defamation: Not make false, misleading, or malicious statements about companies or staff
• • Appropriate Content: Not include personal contact information, inappropriate images, or off-topic content
• • Rate Limits: Maximum 3 reviews per 24 hours per account

Content Moderation

All reviews are subject to moderation before appearing publicly. We reserve the right to:

• • Review, approve, reject, or remove any content
• • Flag reviews for manual moderation based on automated checks
• • Remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws
• • Take action without prior notice

Reviews may be automatically flagged for: profanity detection, suspicious timing data, near-identical text, or multiple reports from users.

Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting reviews, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Our Content: The Service and its original content (excluding user submissions), features, and functionality are owned by BusReviewBD and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• • Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews through multiple accounts or coordinated activity
• • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• • Collect or store personal data about other users without permission
• • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• • Post reviews in exchange for payment or other incentives

Disclaimers

User-Generated Content: Reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not reflect the views of BusReviewBD. We do not verify the accuracy of user submissions.

Service Availability: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Third-Party Services: We are not affiliated with the bus companies reviewed on our platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or reliability of their services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BusReviewBD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• • Violate these Terms of Service
• • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• • Repeatedly post content that violates our guidelines
• • Receive multiple reports from other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Approved reviews may remain on the platform unless they violate our policies.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting an updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
